The Capital Grille -155 East 42nd Street – A consistent favorite for steak and seafood lovers alike, this chain serves up delicious meals and doesn’t disappoint. With top-notch service and their award-winning wine list, this is sure to be a meal to remember. Be sure to leave room for dessert!
The Shop – 485 Fifth Avenue (at 41st St) – The menu changes with the seasons, so the ingredients are always fresh and the food speaks for itself at this contemporary chic restaurant at the Andaz 5th Avenue. For lunch we tried Bo-Bo’s Free-Range Chicken with harissa, argyle cheese, farmer’s Greek yogurt and lemon, as well as the Seared Long Island Duck Breast with Brussels sprouts, raisins and onions. Both were delicious.
Zengo – 622 Third Avenue (at 40th St) -This Asian-Latin inspired menu is quite inventive and full of great choices including; Tuna Won Ton Tacos, Volcano Roll, Spicy Jumbo Crab Guacamole and Chipotle Miso Glazed Black Cod among others. Just meeting for drinks? Try the tequila bar downstairs or sake bar upstairs.
