Big Vines Deliver Big Value

| September 11, 2012

Recently I had the opportunity to explore the range of Napa Valley based Big Vine wines. From the Cabernet Sauvignon, to the Pinot big vine winesNoir, to the Chardonnay, I was delighted with the quality that these sub $20 wines delivered. The Big Vine label offers appellation specific, quality-driven wines.

The Cab, delivered a rich, ripe and balanced experience, with hints of blackberry and allspice, while the Chardonnay danced with bright green apple and intense peach and paired beautifully with a rosemary roasted chicken. However it was the Pinot Noir that was my favorite with a perfectly balanced blend of rich Arroyo Grande fruit and the finesse of Santa Rita Hills. A beautiful berry fruit and smoky quality dominated what was a surprisingly long finish. I will be back for this one!
