Roasted Asparagus with Almonds Recipe

 

Ingredients:Roasted asparagus with almonds

  • 1 1/2 pound asparagus, trimmed
  • 2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • Salt and freshly ground pepper
  • 1/4 cup toasted sliced almonds

Directions:

Preheat the oven to 425°. Place asparagus on a baking sheet and drizzle evenly with olive oil, then sprinkle evenly with garlic, salt and pepper. Roast for about 18 minutes, until the they are tender and charred a bit if you prefer it better done. Transfer to a plate, top with toasted almonds and serve.
