Where to Celebrate Chanukah and Christmas in NYC

Whether you are celebrating Christmas Eve or the last night of Chanukah, there are fabulous menus for all. New York City restaurants always kick up the holiday cheer and this year is no exception. Here are five great restaurants offering interesting menus for the holidays.

paolasPaolo’s: This Upper East Side neighborhood gem is celebrating Chanukah with a special Italian menu accompanied by luscious potato latkes and free jelly filled donuts.  A perfect place to celebrate Christmas Eve and the last night of Chanukah.

The  menu includes: Blue Point Oysters with flying fish roe and Meyer lemon, Cozze e Vongole: with a basil-dill broth and roasted tomato, Tonnarelli – king crab with bottarga (Mediterranean caviar), tomato, and hot chilies, Wild Sea Bass with potatoes and squid ink vinaigrette, and for dessert – Profiteroles. Piora by Nicole Franzen Piora: Chef Christopher Cipollone is offering a six-course tasting menu at this intimate West Village favorite. The menu includes a course of Mistletoe with cranberry and yogurt, Carrot prepared with beet, orange and walnut, Chestnut with squash, porcini and Balsamic, Sunchoke Veloute with caviar and eggyolk and a choice of a Feast of Fishes or Christmas Duck. For dessert: Gingerbread with milk chocolate, brown butter and caramel.
